DatabaseThe Neutron Monitor Data
Neutron Data:and Attendant Measurements Measurement of the cosmic ray intensity variation with a 1-minute temporal resolution by the neutron monitors at Tien-Shan Mountain Station (3340 m above sea level), at the Intemediate Station (1750 m a.s.l.), in the Kazakh National University (850 m a.s.l), and by the Underground neutron monitor of Tien-Shan station. Meteo-data Measurements of the barometric pressure and air temperature in the vicinity of neutron monitor installations. Tien-Shan Weather Station

Remarks concerning database operationThe pages of this site are tested under internet browsers compatible with the Mozilla Firefox; their operation under current version of Internet Explorer is verified afterwards. In Opera site is not specially tested, but works correctly as a whole. Launching of the data operation programs so as composing of requests to database server succeeds under the control of the scripts written in JavaScript language; the distribution plots are painted by a special Java applet. Support of both capabilities must be switched on in the browser you use. Before trying to paint the data in a graphic form you might be in need to install previously in your computer a system of Java Run-Time Environment (JRE) which can be downloaded from here (old distributive versions which are sufficient for operation of this site can be also downloaded from here - for Linux, or from here - for Windows). When seeing the data in a graphic form you can interactively control the zoom status of the presented plot area by the mouse: dragging the mouse over the plot with the pressed left button from left to right zooms in the selected plot area, dragging it from right to left zooms out. All the time moments in database are presented in Universal Time (UTC timezone). The database contains information since the 1 January 2005. |
